Daniel Wedd and partners operate the FenceMate mobile application (the "App") and we are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your information is handled within the App.

Because we believe in data minimization and user privacy, FenceMate is designed to operate without the need for external cloud databases.

Local App Data (Stored on Your Device)

We do not operate external servers to collect, harvest, or store your personal or business data. Any information you enter into the App is stored locally on your own device. This includes:

• Account/Profile Details: Any names, business names, or contact information you input.

• Project & Job Data: Client names, job site addresses, project dimensions, quoting details, and material preferences.

We do not upload, transmit, or store this data on any external servers, and we have no access to the information you enter into the App.

Location Information

The App may ask for permission to access your device’s location services.

• How it is used: If granted, this permission is used strictly in real-time to identify your general area so the App can connect you with, and display, nearby fencing material suppliers.

• How it is stored: This location check happens locally on your device. We do not track your location in the background, nor do we upload, save, or share your coordinates with our own servers or any third parties.

• Your Choice: You can opt out of location sharing at any time through your device’s system settings. If you choose not to share your location, you can still use the app, though you may need to manually enter a postcode or region to view local suppliers.

We may collect anonymous, non-personal technical data automatically through the app store platforms (Apple App Store and Google Play Store) to help us maintain and improve app performance. This may include:

• Device operating system and version.

• Device type (e.g., iPhone, Samsung Galaxy).
